All of our face-to-face and on-site services have resumed from 6 December 2020

On Sunday 6th December 2020, Victoria moved to COVIDSafe Summer restrictions. Accordingly, all of our on-site services are operating normally in accordance with health restrictions and our COVIDSafe Plan.  Accordingly, the services we offer that require face-to-face contact or a person to a physically attend a site have resumed. In particular, on-site work such as private inspections, routine inspections and rent appraisals will be carried out.

ACE Property Share remains open for business with all staff working remotely from home. However the ACE Property Share office location remains closed.  All face-to-face contact is by appointment only at the relevant property.

The following services have been impacted by COVID Summer Restrictions

Open for Inspections & Private Inspections

Are ‘Open for Inspections’ allowed?

Yes. Open for Inspections / Open Homes are permitted under COVID Summer Restrictions. However, we will not be performing Open for Inspections. Prospective tenants wanting to view a property must book a private inspection beforehand.

Are ‘Private Inspections’ allowed?

Yes. Private inspections are permitted with under COVID Summer Restrictions.  Accordingly, we will be performing private inspections in accordance with restrictions. Some of these restrictions are:
  • Attendees must verbally confirm they are not displaying symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19), self-isolating nor under quarantine prior to attending;
  • Attendees must provide their name and contact details to the agent for contract tracing purposes;
  • If a QR Code tracing system is in use, attendees must provide their name and contact details to the QR code system for contact tracing purposes;
  • Attendees must avoid or minimise the touching of surfaces within the property;
  • A density quotient of 1 person per 4 square metres applies;

What about occupied properties?

Private inspections of occupied properties are permitted provided all of the following additional conditions are met:
  1. None of the occupants of the property are displaying coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms, or are diagnosed with coronavirus (COVID-19); and
  2. None of the occupants of the property are self-isolating or self-quarantining either as a diagnosed person or a close contact of a diagnosed person;

Routine Inspections

Are ‘Routine Inspections’ allowed?

Yes. Routine inspections are permitted with under COVID Summer Restrictions.  Accordingly, we will be performing routine inspections in accordance with restrictions. Some of these restrictions are:

  • The agent not be displaying symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19), self-isolating nor be under quarantine prior to attending;
  • None of the occupants of the property are displaying coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms, or are diagnosed with coronavirus (COVID-19); 
  • None of the occupants of the property are self-isolating or self-quarantining either as a diagnosed person or a close contact of a diagnosed person;
